Step 2: Check External Email

Navigate to the "Accounts and Import" tab and click on "Add a mail account" under Check mail from other account.

Step 3: Receive Mail From External Email

A window will pop up asking you to enter the email address of the external account you wish to add. Enter the email address and click on "Next".

Gmail will most likely need to verify your email address, they will send an email to the newly added address. Because we can already receive mails on our Gmail we can find the code in our Gmail inbox.

Return to the Gmail Inbox and click on the "Compose" button to open a new email.

Step 8: Switch Send Mail As

In the "From" field, click on the drop-down arrow and select the external email account you wish to send the email from.
